The Proposed Route
The proposed route is just that, a proposal. In fact, until the project is approved and turned over to GDOT, there is no “Final Map” that can be given to the citizens of Pierce, Ware, or Brantley County, because GDOT will have final authority over the final route! Not your elected officials, but an engineer or even possibly an AI algorithm will determine which homes get bulldozed, and which communities the path of this bypass destroys.
Some in the community say this will never happen, so just calm down. Those individuals don’t live on or near one of the lines on this map! If you, your family, or your friends are potentially impacted by the proposed bypass, PLEASE GET INVOLVED! Call and message your commissioners, your state representatives, and make plans to SHOW UP for commissioner meetings and public hearings.
